We will hopefully have a new contributor to the blog. My wife has accepted an invitation to post. Hopefully she will take advantage of the blog at some point in time.
Well the wife has decided that we should start "smart shopping." I think it's a good idea as long as I don't have to be too involved. Well guess what I'm too involved. We have made a spreadsheet and now it's off to check prices. Oh joy.....

This guy has at least a couple of really interesting videos. I have only watched a few so far but they are well done and informative. Check it out and see what you think. I think I will put together one of these first aid kits. They seem to be really well thought out.

This is our last stop on the trip. Very pretty views. Amazing...
Words cannot express the beauty.
More pictures from 0ur trip.
My two favorite ladies.
They are a little strange but I love them and would do anything for them.
Really nice views. I would love to have the opportunity to hike this area.
If i could only get this one to go hiking with me it would be a perfect world.
This is from a trip we took a month or so ago. It was a lot of fun. We got to see lots of stuff and I got to get Octagon soap. Not that anyone knows what that is other than me.
This is the center of the town. It was a nice place for a relaxing walk around the town square.
A side walk in the town square.
A gigantic dog. Really nice and sort of shy. Rachel wanted to take her home with us. Forunately she had an owner already.
My beautiful bride. I may be the luckiest man alive.
These aren't very good pictures and I think the tree needs more ornaments, but it's now officially Christmas. Rachels seems pretty happy about the whole thing, so I'm pretty happy about the whole thing too.
Well not really. The water is getting a little in my yard, but the neighbors lake has flooded. Hopefully the rain will slow and the water will go down.
I got a Parkzone Micro Cessna 210. It's a nice little plane. It's really light and should usually be flown inside where there is no wind. If flown outside the wind really blows is around a lot.
I got a call to a residence in reference to a crazed snapping turtle on the loose in the front yard. We were able to subdue the maniac and place him in a large container to transport him to somewhere that he would be more comfortable. As we were driving he decided that he did not like the container and tried to make a break for it. In the following video you can see him walking on the back deck of my patrol vehicle's rear window. I would have taken a longer video but the memory card ran out. The entire trip he just paced back and forth.
There are some pictures of the turtle included below the video. We took him to a creek that feeds into a large river. He should be happy now.
