I am also making a turkey sausage stew. It has turkey sausage, black beans, kidney beans, great northern beans, salsa, garlic, onion, green bell pepper, and cummin powder. It all goes in the slow cooker and cooks for hours and hours.

I did a little cooking.
First we have racks of dehydrated fruit. There are chunks of apricot and pineapple in there. Hopefully it will turn out good.

Homemade Pizza
Homemade Pizza. It looks so much better in person than it does in the pictures. That's what you get when you take pictures with a cell phone thought I guess. We used the same bread that we use for the loaves. Just roll and stretch it thin then throw on some toppings. A few minutes in the oven and you have yummy yummy pizza.

More Bread
We have baked bread several more times now. It is still AWESOME. Here are some pictures of the process. This time we made enough dough for eight 1 pound loaves.
These pictures show two loaves resting and rising before being baked.

Then right before they go in the oven I make cuts in the top of the bread.

Finally we have the finished bread. Very tasty.

Homemade Bread
We baked bread this weekend. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!
I will post more pictures of the whole process when we make more. If you have never baked bread you should definitely give it a shot. Also pick up this book: Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day: The Discovery That Revolutionizes Home Baking by Jeff Hertzberg and Zoe Francois I don't have the book yet, but I read an excerpt of it in the current issue of Mother Earth News. The artcle was short, but it provided quick and easy to follow instructions. I highly recommend checking it out.
